Specifying Signedge for your illuminated sign requirements is simple and straightforward. The following provides a guide to the basic elements that will influence your sign requirements.

SIZE

The Signedge Panel is available in sizes up to 10' x 4' (3.3x1.2m)

The length is dictated by the length of the lamps needed to illuminate the sign, or multiples of these lamp lengths, which generally come in lengths of 2',3',4', and 5' (.6, .9, 1.2 and 1.5m), while the width can be up to 4' (1.2m) between lamps.

Larger size formats can be considered upon request.

SINGLE OR DOUBLE-SIDED

This is an important consideration as some Signedge profiles are designed for single-sided applications only, while others can be either single or double-sided.

FINISH

Signedge signs are framed with extruded aluminium profiles, which are not only designed for aesthetic appeal but also to provide structural strength and house the electrical components. These profiles can be powder coated in many different colours and textures to meet most applications.

GRAPHICS

Basically, Signedge can illuminate any translucent medium, this includes duratrans, transparency, paper poster, screenprints, vinyl lettering, photographs, inkjet prints, and lenticular lenses etc. The thinner and more transparent the medium, the better the illumination.

POWER

Signedge signs can be wired to accommodate most power inputs including the standard 110 volt, 220 volt and 227 volt.

Signedge signs are wired to suit regulatory standards and incorporate UL and CE approved components, however, it is highly recommended that local statutory requirements are clearly understood before considering your sign application.

PLACEMENT

Another important consideration, while all Signedge products are suitable for internal applications and most are designed to incorporate seals that make them suitable for external applications, several designs are suitable for internal use only.

FACE PANELS

The Signedge range of products incorporate acrylic face panels, however, acrylic can be substituted with polycarbonate or toughened glass to suit differing applications.

SECURING GRAPHICS

Each Signedge sign provides one of a variety of securing mechanisms that deliver a simple means of graphic interchange.
